Unlike other Himalayan destination, Bhutan provides unique trekking experiences from a simple path to formidable routes, going through rugged terrain, passing by swift streams and sparkling lakes, and sometimes through the woods where showering water falls break the silence.

TREK ROUTES:
1. BUMTHANG CULTURAL TREK: As the name suggests, the trek starts from Chamkar valley in Bumthang. The duration of the trek is 3 days and it takes you to remote villages and monasteries in the valley. It is best for those who wish to avoid arduous paths.
2. GANGTEY TREK: A simple trek through the beautiful Phobjika valley takes three days to complete. Passing through suburbs and wild flowers it ends at the junction of rivers in Wangdiphodrang.
3. GASA HOT SPRING TREK: A unique trekking experience which takes you to hot spring in Gasa. The spring is considered sacred and is declared as holy site. The duration of the trek is three day.
4. JUMOLHARI TREK I: There are two Jomolhari routes and this route is the longest one. It is also one of the popular treks in Bhutan. On your trip you will come across a variety of flora and fauna species. A spectacular view of Mount Jumolhari makes the trek a memorable one. The duration of the trek is nine days.
5. JUMOLHARI TREK II: This is the other route of Jomolhari trek and is shorter and easier than route I. Both the routes provide the spectacular view of Mount Jomolhari. The duration of the trek is eight days.
6. DRUK PATH: The Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan. The starting point for this trek could either be from Thimphu or Paro. If you are staring from Thimphu, you will pass by Phajoding monastery, which is the main attraction of the trek. On the route you will come across beautiful lakes with magnificent views and an old royal palace. The duration of the trek is six days of the trek is six days.
7. SAMTENGANG WINTER TREK: This trekking starts from the historical valley of Punakha. It takes you through the villages of Punakha. The duration of the trek is 4 days and is open throughout the winter.
8. DAGALA THOUSAND LAKES TREK: This trek provides stunning views of Kanjenjunga, the third highest mountain of the world and several beautiful lakes. Villages, monasteries and mountain birds are other highlights of the trip. Despite of these facts, this trek is not so popular. The trekking duration is for six days.
9. LAYA-GASA TREK: Till Lingshi, the trek route is same as Jomolhari trek I. On the route you will come across yak herders and scattered villages. The Mount Jomolhari, Jichu Darkey and Gangchhenta, are some of the popular mountains that will provide spectacular view on your trip. You may even come across some takins, the national animal of Bhutan. The duration of the trek is fourteen days.
10. SNOWMAN TREK:
A challenging trek which takes 23 days to complete. The starting point is from Paro, and it ends in Sephu village in Wangdue Phodrang. This trek is not appropriate for those people who are trekking for the first time.
